Going the Extra Mile...

We like to think that we go the extra mile for our customers and deliver products no matter when they need them. Earlier in 2008, we shipped a Subcom 2000 System straight from stock to a customer, when an old emergency comms system on a DSV working in the Caspian Sea went down.

Obviously when this happens all diving operations have to be suspended - a VERY costly situation!

We got the new system out to them and it was installed and operational within 7 days - instead of the usual 4-6 weeks!

This demonstrates Sonavision's determination to provide the very best service to our customers and we're currently working toward selling complete systems from stock - which is why Nicola (see below!) is on board with us now. And that can only be GOOD NEWS for our customers!

HAWKEYE Range - Ever Increasing!

Since we launched our Hawkeye range of underwater cameras, they've gone down a storm - probably due to the fact that they're very well engineered - and it's not just us who think so!

We currently offer 30 in the range and more are planned. If you see one that's close to your specific requirements but needs tweaking to be perfect for you - that's no problem - just let us know what you need done and we'll manufacture a camera that's EXACTLY right for you!

For example, we recently changed connectors on the 65CT to deliver an solution to solve a particular customer's problem. A small change for us but very important for the customer! So yes, we deliver standard product but if you need it customised - talk to us!

Built to last!

Sonavision equipment is well-known for its solid, robust design and the longevity. However, when one of our younger graduate engineers was asked to service a Subcom 2000 system recently, he was a little surprised. The production date stamped on the eqiupment showed that it was older than him! And was it still serviceable? Absolutely! When we say our products are built to last - WE MEAN IT!

And finally - some groundbreaking news - Nicola Anderson has just joined us from Robert Gordon University's Management course and her role is to manage purchasing, stock and document control. This is first time in the five years of Sonavision's history that there's been a female in the office!
