SV4000 gives excellent resolution and high quality imagery,
which is still unsurpassed by all but the new Titan..
As one ROV pilot told us: " With an SV4000 you could
see a gnat's arse at 50m!" Rather an unconventional
way of describing our sonar's high resolution - but we
know what he means!
Titan is the next generation and incorporates all that
is good about the SV4000, but the SV4000 still rolls
on - it uses conventional components, which some field
technicians prefer, it is modular in design, has oil
compensation in the head and just keeps on working...
