The Centaur Bathymetric Sensor is Sonavision's latest development, a long awaited successor for the UK94 Bathy, and a compliment to its sonar systems.
The design incorporates a number of key features, including:-
- Software for user calibration of depth sensor - no need for annual return to manufacturer!
- Facility to change depth sensors - just swap them out!
- Facility to change altimeter evem in the field!
- Interfaces with Valeport and FSI CTD probes for local correction of values
- Autosense RS232/485 communications
- Can be direct replacement for the UK94, using current loop
- Reasonably priced, despite the superior specification
