Borehole camera is a colour video inspection unit providing
real time TV footage of the internal surfaces of a borehole
or riser. The system is unique in that two TV cameras
are provided; an end camera viewing down the borehole,
capable of identifying blockages etc. and a side view
camera looking directly at the pipe wall.
The side view camera can be remotely rotated through
360 degrees to allow all internal surfaces to be inspected.
The side view camera is fitted with variable intensity
halogen lights whilst the end view camera is fitted
with fixed intensity high brightness white LED's.
The camera can be provided with surface control units
which incorporate high intensity LCD monitors and hand
operated or motorised cable storage units (up to 300m)
with sliprings and cable counters.
